My name is Kayleigh and I am currently a kindergarten teacher in the beautiful state of Colorado
I started my teaching career in kindergarten and have been there ever since! I have truly fallen in love with everything about it… the foundational skills, the exploration, the relationships, and of course, the kids! I love the light in their eyes when they first step foot in the classroom. For most it is their first full day experience at school. This is such a magical time for the littles and it warms my heart knowing that I get to build a love for learning right off the bat!
I have a passion for creating engaging and hands-on activities that allow for students to be met where they are in their learning journey! I love getting to sit with the littles around the small group table and help them work through their struggles. I love differentiating and finding new ways to engage students in the content. I love seeing the look on their faces when it finally clicks!
When I am not in the classroom, you can find me drinking yummy coffee (ALL the coffee ☕️), doing house projects, adding sweet little touches to our home, and crafting with my Cricut! This handy man right here is my biggest supporter! We have an amazing house together… that we have done ALL the projects on… and when I say ALL I mean everything from taking down walls to building a butcher block island with shiplap to redoing all the floors! I love farmhouse style and love adding sweet touches to our home! We have recently gained a new hobby, besides our thousands of house projects (which we still do lol), and that is golf. We also love getting outside whenever we get the chance to truly enjoy the great outdoors! Fishing, hiking, and camping are some of the favorites 🙂
This our sweet boy, Rogie! He is a dachshund corgi mix and is such a character! He loves playing in the hose, chasing rabbits, and snuggling! He makes my day when he snuggles up next to me while I drink my morning coffee! We have gotten to take him on lots of different adventures with us like camping, kayaking, and hiking! We sure love this boy and I mean come on… look at his sweet face 🙂
